He went to West Point where he gained the name " Cannibal" being the first Filipino to graduate from this Academy.He was a survivor of the Bataan Death March and later on traveled to Australia under the orders of Gen. MacArthur. He was captured, tortured and beheaded by the Japanese soldiers.
